Oriental,NC

Saturday 20 minute bike ride to church. Sunday and Monday at Oriental City Dock. Many boats waiting with us for the wind to subside. Oriental has a population of 1000 people and 3000 boats. There are 20 people here that have circumnavigated the world and one person did it with no instruments, not even a compass. There is a harbor web camera so the locals can tell who is at the city dock. A lot of people came down to visit, even some former Plover,WI residents. The local news reporter did a interview
with us on Monday.
Tuesday departed the city dock and cruised for two hours but came back and anchored at Greens Creek due to the wind. High temp's between 67 & 72 degs and 46 for a low Tuesday. Days have been mostly sunny and 1.30 inches during a thunderstorm Sunday evening.
