Left our friends wonderful dock on a cannel in Punta Gorda on 1 January 08 and arrived at Fisherman's Village Yacht Basin at 1315 before the wind picked up. The north wind blew all night and blew a lot of the water to the south end of Charlotte Harbor so that Wednesday morning at low tide the dock was 10 feet above the water and the boat was hard aground. We were looking up at the bottom side of the dock. In order for Arvilla to get out of the boat we launched the dinghy and got to shore in the
dinghy. 51 degrees for a high on Wednesday. Wednesday morning low was 42 degrees and with all the wind our tomato plant looks pretty sick so we put it inside the boat. We sure hope it survives. Went for a one hour walk and also went to a craft show in the nearby mall. We wish everyone a very great 2008.
