Upon arriving in Ottawa on Sunday we spent time with friends from Canada and South Carolina visiting, touring and having lunch in Ottawa.
Monday we visited the Parliament and watched the changing of the guards, went to the market and bought fresh berries and had lunch at an outside cafe with friends. What a wonderful time we had at Ottawa on Arvilla's birthday.
Tuesday 0843 depart Ottawa.
1650 Arrive Burritts Rapids Lock wharf. 79 degs and sunny. Cruised 39 miles and nine locks.

Found this site and your listing during a search for Cat 3116 info[a convoluted tale]. PROWESS is under wraps in Penetanguishene anxiously waitng her coming out next month. The temperature here in Shelburne Ont. was -16C under perfectly clear sky at 5am this morning. After Burrits Rapids we wandered our way to Ottawa July 5 for 5 days, then slowly returned to Penetang Aug. 26. We enjoyed meeting you and re-meeting ODYSEE. We have purchased the charts for Georgian Bay and the North Channel, our objectives for this summer , starting early June all being well. PROWESS has her 1st windlass and it surely must be exercised in the many anchorages on the Bay.
